Cochins
The cochins originated in China, and are bred for meat, laying and ornamental purposes. Until recently the breed has been all but extinct in Australia,
however the
Mercieca family revived the breed. George and Christopher, father and son have recreating a number of colours in the cochin breed these
include silver Laced, golden
Laced, black, white, blue, Columbian and partridge.
